Mr. Boorom is the founder of Worth Capital, LLC and Worth Investment Group, LLC, a $100 million annual revenue holding company. During the past twelve years of leading the Company and several of the underlying subsidiaries, Mr. Boorom has diligently worked to expand the Company with a focus on sustainable growth in valuations, performing add-on acquisitions to existing Portfolio Companies and leading the sale of Energy Systems to Generac Power Systems, (NYSE – GNRC). Mr. Boorom was the recipient of the 2017 Thomas Edison Award through Qualite Sports Lighting, for the development of Qualite Sports Lighting’s Q-LED GameChanger system, for the most innovative sports product in the world. Mr. Boorom has also led the transaction life cycle of every Worth Investment Group subsidiary acquisition, including merger and acquisition strategy, target screening, due diligence, transaction execution and operations integration. Eric now oversees operations at Cascata Holdings.
Prior to forming Worth, Mr. Boorom worked as a team member in the Special Assignments group at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, the second largest bank in the world at the time, and as a credit analyst at ABN-AMRO/LaSalle National Bank, one of the world’s largest banks headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Boorom’s responsibilities at both the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and ABN-AMBRO/LaSalle National Bank included debt recapitalization, operational reengineering, turnaround financing, workout and bankruptcy transactions, real estate financing, enterprise value transactions (cash-flow based financing), mergers, acquisitions, cross-border financing and the issuance/ procurement of subordinated debt, bonds, and equity.
In addition, Mr. Boorom has provided expert testimony on business valuations and marketability in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Boorom is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (ACTP), INSOL International and the Seaplanes Pilot Association. Mr. Boorom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.
